Using the service
Chord Progression Studio is a browser-based music utility for exploring chord progressions, auditioning ideas and exporting MIDI. You are responsible for how you use generated material and for ensuring that your projects comply with applicable law and third-party rights.
Generated progressions and MIDI
You may use and modify MIDI generated by the public tool in your own musical projects, including commercial projects. Chord Progression Studio does not claim ownership of your musical work merely because you used a generated progression.
Chord progressions often use common musical vocabulary. The service does not guarantee that a generated harmonic sequence is unique, exclusive or unlike music created by somebody else.
Preview audio
Browser audio is provided to audition the selected progression. It is not intended as a substitute for your own production, mix or sound design, and site audio assets may not be extracted or redistributed as a standalone sample library unless their separate source license expressly permits it.
Results and musical judgment
The generator is designed to provide useful musical starting points, not a guarantee that every result will suit every song. Review and adapt the result in your own musical context.
Keep important project files
Browser-local history is a convenience, not an archival service. Save MIDI or other important project material in your own storage. Clearing browser data can remove local progression history.
Availability and changes
The service is provided on an as-available basis. Features, progression data, playback instruments, supported browsers and technical behavior may change as the product evolves.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site in a way that harms or disrupts the service, interferes with other users, attempts to bypass technical or security limits, infringes third-party rights, or violates applicable law.
Site content and software
The site interface, software, written guides and curated data structure remain subject to their applicable rights and licenses. Using the tool does not grant a right to copy or redistribute the website itself, its source code or its complete curated progression corpus.
No guarantee for a particular purpose
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Chord Progression Studio does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a particular creative outcome, compatibility with every DAW or browser, or suitability for a specific commercial or legal purpose.
