Music generation and MIDI stay in your browser
Progression selection, voicing, preview state, piano-roll data and MIDI generation are performed in your browser. The site does not require you to upload a song, MIDI file or project to a processing server in order to use the generator.
Local browser storage
The site can store a theme preference, repeat-protection history and recent progression snapshots in browser storage. These records stay on your device and are used to restore local preferences or previously generated results. Clearing site data or using private browsing can remove them.
Website and security data
Loading the website creates ordinary network requests. Hosting and content-delivery providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, requested URL, date and time, and security-related request data in order to deliver and protect the site.
Hosting
Chord Progression Studio is hosted using Cloudflare infrastructure. Cloudflare may process limited network and request metadata under its applicable privacy and retention practices.
Audio assets
Preview instruments can load static audio assets from the site when you choose to play a progression. These requests are ordinary static-asset requests and do not upload your progression or DAW project.
Consent, advertising and browser storage
The deployed site may use Google's consent services and Google AdSense when those services are enabled in production configuration. Where consent is legally required, non-essential advertising-related storage and processing must follow the available consent choices.
When advertising is disabled in the deployed configuration, Chord Progression Studio does not render advertising units. Consent controls can still be enabled independently when needed for the configured Google consent experience.

Analytics and Search Console
Google Analytics is not currently part of the application code. Aggregate hosting data and Google Search Console may be used to understand site availability, indexing and search visibility. The generator does not send your generated progression snapshot to Search Console.
When you contact us
If you contact us, we may process the information you voluntarily provide, such as your email address, message and relevant technical details, in order to respond, investigate a problem or comply with a legal obligation.
Legal bases and European privacy rights
Where European data-protection law applies, technical website delivery, security and support are processed where necessary to provide the service or on the basis of legitimate interests in operating and protecting the site. Where consent is required for non-essential advertising-related processing, that processing relies on consent.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection in relation to your personal data. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent without affecting earlier processing.
You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority. The operator is based in Belgium.
International processing
Some infrastructure or service providers operate internationally. Where European data-protection law applies, transfers outside the EEA must rely on an applicable legal mechanism.
Children
Chord Progression Studio is a general-purpose music utility and is not specifically directed at children. The generator does not require an account or ask users to provide personal profile information.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the service, legal requirements or third-party services change. The current version will remain available on this page.
